Seller and restricted-products policy

Texas launch · TX-auctions-seller-direct-10pct-2026-10-16

These marketplace restrictions can be stricter than the law. A permitted product still requires listing approval; approval is not a legal certification.

  1. Seller registration is limited to approved Texas warehouses. Warehouse pickup is the default. Sellers may offer fixed-price shipping within the U.S., arrange and pay for their own shipment, and must enter the carrier and tracking number before marking an order shipped.
  2. No illegal goods, drugs, drug paraphernalia, pharmaceuticals, cannabis/CBD, tobacco, vapes or alcohol.
  3. No medical devices, diagnostic or treatment equipment, prescription products or used medical supplies. This is a marketplace restriction even when a product may otherwise be lawful.
  4. No firearms, ammunition, explosives, firearm components, illegal weapons or weapons requiring processor approval. Ordinary legal kitchen knives and tools require item review; they are not automatically classified as illegal.
  5. No stolen, counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, hazardous, age-restricted or otherwise prohibited products. No adult sexual content, live animals or financial products.
  6. Inspect every individual item and pallet. Remove restricted contents, check recalls, use actual photos, describe condition and confirm you own or are authorized to sell the goods. Unknown contents and SOLD AS IS do not override these rules.
  7. All seller auction listings require iLikeNew approval before bidding opens. The owner may enable automatic approval of eligible submissions for an approved warehouse; restricted-product flags still require manual review. Editing a listing returns it to draft for submission. Bidding is free; bids and purchases must be genuine. Sellers cannot bid on their own items.
  8. Auction buyers must pay through Stripe within 24 hours of auction close. Warehouse pickup is required within seven days unless the buyer selects offered seller-arranged shipping at payment.
  9. Use accurate warehouse names, public pickup addresses and hours. Pickup buyers collect from the warehouse shown on their order. Sellers ship shipping orders to the buyer’s selected address.
  10. New listings carry a 10% iLikeNew commission on the item sale price, excluding sales tax and shipping. The seller also pays Stripe payment processing, dispute and other account fees under the seller’s Stripe agreement. On a $100 item, iLikeNew’s commission is $10; the seller receives $90 before Stripe fees. Existing listings and orders keep their recorded agreed fee and payment arrangement.
  11. New seller payments are direct charges on the seller’s own Stripe merchant account. The seller is the customer’s payment merchant, supplies the goods, fulfills the order at the disclosed warehouse and is responsible for customer service, lawful descriptions, refunds, chargebacks and dispute evidence. Sellers authorize iLikeNew to create and manage payments and refunds for their marketplace orders. iLikeNew retains its commission plus applicable marketplace sales tax through an application fee and records tax separately for iLikeNew’s tax reporting. This does not transfer iLikeNew’s statutory marketplace tax duties to sellers.
  12. Complete Stripe’s secure merchant onboarding with accurate business, identity and authorized bank details. Sellers receive a full Stripe Dashboard to manage their merchant account, bank details, customer payments, refunds and disputes. Bank account and routing details are entered on Stripe, not in an iLikeNew bank form. New accounts must have Stripe assigned responsibility for eligible connected-account negative balances; this is subject to Stripe’s agreement and does not excuse seller debts or misconduct.
  13. There is no additional iLikeNew eight-day holding period for new direct seller payments. A successful payment credits the seller’s Stripe balance after the recorded commission and marketplace tax allocation. Bank arrival depends on Stripe fund availability, the seller’s payout schedule, bank processing, account restrictions, refunds and disputes. Active warehouse approval, current terms and Stripe verification are required before checkout. Earlier bank payments and platform payments retain their financial records and cannot be paid a second time.
  14. Sellers must honor required refunds and cooperate promptly with disputes. Completed refunds debit the seller’s Stripe balance. iLikeNew returns the applicable marketplace sales tax allocation and proportional commission through an application-fee refund after the completed customer refund is verified. Stripe processing, dispute and other fees follow the seller’s Stripe agreement and may remain payable. Refunds or fee adjustments made independently in Stripe can require reconciliation. A dispute alone does not create a tax refund.
  15. To the extent permitted by law, sellers must reimburse and indemnify iLikeNew for documented refunds, chargebacks, payment-provider or card-network penalties, fines, claims and reasonable recovery costs caused by the seller’s products, unlawful conduct, misrepresentation, nonfulfillment or breach of these terms. This excludes amounts caused by iLikeNew’s own misconduct or duties that cannot legally be shifted. iLikeNew may invoice amounts owed or deduct them from amounts it lawfully owes the seller, with notice and an opportunity to provide evidence. This is not authorization to debit a bank account without a separate valid mandate. Seller obligations continue after account closure.
  16. Sellers must maintain required Texas permits and follow Texas, federal, payment-provider and marketplace rules. iLikeNew may decline listings, suspend sellers and restrict future marketplace sales while a payment issue is reviewed. Future nationwide access is not granted by this agreement.
